The launch of the latest Wiltshire Voices film has taken place. The film focused on the issues facing us all as we age. Around 100 older people were interviewed as part of the research for the production which featured a number of older people talking candidly to camera about the wide range of issues that matter to them.
These ranged from housing and public transport through to keeping fit and active. It also focused on social isolation, loss and the importance of friends, family and carers. The public showing of the film took place at Grassacres Day Centre in Westbury and was followed by a discussion involving a number of older people together with professionals from the fields of housing, social care, passenger transport, voluntary and public sector.
